With a distinguished career spanning leadership roles as a CEO, CAO, CFO, and CHRO, Christopher Langhoff brings a wealth of diverse experience in finance and human resources to XNRGY. Chris holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Vassar College, and his professional background, which includes impactful roles at Goldman Sachs & Co., PepsiCo, and Russell Reynolds Associates, provides him with firsthand insights into world-class talent, systems, and processes, across public companies, private equity portfolio firms, and pre-revenue startups.
In his new role as Chief People Officer at XNRGY, based in Mesa, Arizona, Chris will be a senior leader responsible for guiding the company’s human capital strategy. A key aspect of his role will involve leading XNRGY’s M&A activities in partnership with the CEO and Board of Directors. He will also be instrumental in establishing a strategic planning process designed to position XNRGY as a leader in the green technology sector. Furthermore, Chris will play a crucial role in supporting XNAir and XNLiquid as they expand their commercial capabilities in the Mesa community.
Chris’s career highlights demonstrate a proven ability to drive strategic growth and organizational excellence. He has led strategic initiatives for significant entities such as PepsiCo Food Systems, the corporate officer practice at Russell Reynolds, and numerous startups.
His IPO expertise was notably demonstrated at Pepsi Bottling Group’s IPO, where he was instrumental in raising over $6B in debt and $2B in equity, while also leading treasury and investor relations, contributing to the company’s stock doubling in its first three years. Additionally, Chris founded the Financial Officer Practice and Value Centric Talent, where he completed over 200 executive searches for CFOs, CHROs, and Board Directors across Fortune 200 companies and high-growth unicorns.
