Art Doramajian

Director of Engineering for Battery Plant

Engineering is more than solving problems — it’s about creating environments where performance thrives. Whether it's preserving priceless artifacts or perfecting the air for the NHL, I’ve always believed precision and purpose go hand in hand.

Following two years at Ontario Hydro’s Demand-Side Management program, Art was Senior Engineer and in charge of Performance Contracting at Honeywell Ltd in Quebec where he was first introduced in 1994 to desiccant dehumidification technology for low dewpoint applications.

A professional engineer, Art Doramajian obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Concordia University in Montreal in 1988.  Two years later, Art received his Master’s degree in Engineering where he focused his research on Energy Efficiency for Commercial Buildings.

Over the past 25-years, Art Doramajian has specifically focused on projects requiring precise low dewpoint control with desiccant dehumidification.  Such applications include storage & preservation, food & preparation, healthcare & pharmaceutical, automotive & associated industries and recreation & leisure.

Among his many accomplishments including patenting heat-pump desiccant technology for low dewpoint applications, Art is also widely recognized for his success and experience specifically with the National Hockey League.  Art has participated in the design, construction and commissioning of desiccant dehumidification systems for nine (9) NHL teams over the past 17-years.
